The Province is seeking quotations from perspective Respondents for the repair and maintenance of electronic traffic control devices.
The Contracted Supplier will be required to attend to any requested electronic traffic control device maintenance issue within one (1) week of becoming aware of the issue. Maintenance issues that are deemed minor in nature, may be able to be repaired remotely, if the Contracted Supplier is able to provide a detailed description of the steps to be followed to troubleshoot the issue to repair the device and staff from the Department are available to assist with the repair on-site.
Maintenance work included in this SOA will be specifically associated to the electronic traffic control devices (solar radar speed signs/24 hr flashers) and all associated components such as the solar panels and brackets. Sign post, static sign, etc. maintenance will be the responsibility of the Department.
Additional electronic traffic control devices may be added at any time during the contract period. The Contracted Supplier will be required to perform maintenance on any new electronic traffic control devices at the same unit prices provided in the contract.
If additional make/model of solar radar speed signs and/or 24-hour flashers are purchased and installed during the contract period, the Contracted Supplier will be required to perform maintenance on the alternate make/model of solar radar speed signs and/or 24-hour flashers under the same terms, conditions, and unit pricing established in the contract.
