Immunology Analyzer System for Miscellaneous Serological Testing

1. Shared Health requires an immunology analyzer system to undertake the following serological diagnostic services at Cadham Provincial Laboratory (CPL). The successful supplier of this RFP is to provide:

1. System to consist of analyzer(s), UPS, computer, printer and associated software and software licenses, and capable of interfacing with CPL’s current Laboratory Information System (LIS) via Data Innovations Instrument Manager Software;

2. An analyzer(s) capable of performing serological testing for:

1. Mandatory Test Menu: VZV IgG and IgM, Measles IgG and IgM, Mumps IgG and IgM, EBV VCA IgG and IgM, HSV-1 IgG, HSV-2 IgG, and Lyme Antibody (1st Tier Screening); and

2. Optional Test Menu - Group 1: Rubella IgM, HSV IgM, Mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM, Parvovirus B19 IgG, and Parvovirus B19 IgM; and

3. Optional Test Menu - Group 2: H. pylori Stool Antigen, 2nd Tier Lyme Testing (Total or IgM/IgG), IGRA Mycobacterium tuberculosis, HIV-1/2 Antibody/Antigen 4th/5th Generation Combo, and HDV IgG Antibody.

3. All consumables, reagents, calibrators and kits including quality control and calibration verification materials compatible with the system, required to perform testing; and

4. The proposed system on a reagent lease basis where the supplier retains responsibility for service maintenance of all leased instrumentation and associated software.

2. A single platform, occupying a minimal footprint, is preferred under this RFP, however, Shared Health will consider a combination of two (2) distinct platforms performing testing of all mandatory and desired assays, dependent of the combination meeting all of the other requirements and needs of the Purchaser under this RFP (which includes but is not limited to assay acceptability, smallest footprint, simplicity of workflow and contingency options). Solutions including optional assay menu groups 1 and 2 will be weighed greater.

In consideration of Shared Health’s procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, for this solicitation, preference will be given to Canadian and Non-US suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. Shared Health may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.
