Request for Quote – Custom Mowing
Introduction:
The Municipality of Two Borders will be accepting quotations to provide custom mowing until 4:30 pm on Friday, March 20th, 2026, at the municipal office, 138 Main Street, Melita, MB. Suppliers shall provide their quotation and supporting documents on or before the time and date noted.

Basic Specifications:

• Custom mowing for the Municipality’s first and second cut
• Mowing ditches adjacent to approximately 552 miles of road
• Mowing maps attached
• To commence June 15, 2026 – July 30, 2026, and September 15, 2026, to be completed by October 15th, 2026.
• Mowing outside road allowance is prohibited.
• 15 Ft Rotary Mower
• 90 HP Tractor

Tender Requirements:

• Minimum charge (if applicable)
• Mileage/fuel surcharge (if applicable)
• A breakdown of any additional costs associated
• If quoting cost per hour, please provide an estimate of how many hours
• Estimated start and end dates
• A copy of a letter of good standing with WCB
• Comprehensive General Liability Insurance of $2,000,000

Conditions and Waivers:
This RFQ is subject to the following conditions and waivers:

• Municipality of Two Borders shall examine the quotations, options and the pricing submitted pursuant to the terms of this RFQ under the strict assumption that the submissions are the “best and final” quotations, options, and pricing. Further requests for quotations, options and pricing requested from beyond the original submitted by suppliers would only be made by Municipality for reasons of clarification or as a request for options or pricing not submitted by suppliers.
• Municipality of Two Borders reserves the right to base award of tender on additional factors such as schedule, work force, application methods, availability, and not award to the lowest bidder.
