2026 Water Main Renewals - Contract 4

D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of renewal of water mains on 
Lockwood Street, Fulham Avenue, Knox Street, Ness Avenue, Ingersoll Street and Princess Street, all 
within the City of Winnipeg

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Installation of approximately 965m of 150mm – 250mm diameter PVC water main pipe by 
trenchless methods;
(b)   Installation of approximately 15m of 200mm diameter PVC water main pipe by online open cut 
renewal;
(c)    Abandonment of existing water mains as required;
(d)   Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required;
(e)   Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies;
(f)    Reconnection or renewal of water services connections;
(g)   Works in proximity to Ingersoll Feeder Main; and
(h)   Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.

D2.3        The following shall apply to the Work:
