Description
Construction of two new aerated lagoon cells c/w 1.0 m thick compacted clay liner. 2. Construction of two new SAGR cell c/w 1.0 m thick compacted clay liner. 3. Construction of two new settling cells c/w 1.0 m thick compacted clay liner. 4. Approved Clay Liner source has been identified as a private new borrow site located ~7.5 km west of the lagoon site along HWY 16. (NE 35-20-29W). Clay to be purchased, excavated and hauled to site. 5. Construction of new forcemain to lagoon and miscellaneous site civil piping between lagoon cells. Including connection of new treatment cells to existing lagoon cells. 6. Enter into Novation Agreement with pre-selected treatment equipment vendor (Nexom Inc.) for lagoon aeration package and SAGR package. a. Excavate and backfill for the installation of pre-engineered aeration systems. 7. Construction of blower building (slab on grade with wood frame structure) to house aeration and SAGR blowers and includes coagulant storage and feed systems. a. Includes new electrical service and distribution, new HVAC systems, and chemical feed systems. 8. All work shall conform to the plans and these specifications and the MWSB Standard Construction Specifications.
