    Description
    D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

    D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the demolition of existing 
    powerpacks 5 and 6 and supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of two (2) new powerpacks 
    and associated systems in the existing sludge dewatering building at North End Sewage Treatment 
    Plant (also known as NEWPCC).

    D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
    (a)   Supply and install two (2) new hydraulic power units c/w accessories. Related works include:
    (i)     Disconnect and remove existing power units 5 and 6 and associated piping, electrical, 
    controls, etc.
    (ii)     Supply, installation, start-up and commissioning of new power units.
    (iii)     Installation of new compressed air piping.
    (iv)     Provide modifications to existing electrical and control systems to integrate control of 
    new powerpack units into the existing system.
    (v)     Provide all Work noted in the specifications and drawings.

    D2.3        The Class 1 pre-bid cost estimate for the Work is $1,200,000.00 ($1,100,000.00 
    including MRST + $100,000.00 Cash Allowance for Additional Work).
