Asset Management is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for the supply of pipe chase access platform construction on level 400, 600 & 800 at 141 Kennedy Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, hereinafter referred to as the “Work”. Please refer to Appendix 1 of this RFP for detailed scope description, drawings and specifications.
The intent of the work is to provide access to the currently concealed pipe chase so that it may be further investigated upon completion of the work under this project. The Work includes the supply, fabrication, and installation of new access platforms and corrections-grade access doors serving the existing mechanical pipe chase, portions of which also function as a return-air duct, on Levels 400, 600, and 800. The Work further includes the demolition of existing walls required to create new door openings.
