    DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
     Title: Interior Renovation of the Fir Hall South Residence Townhouses
     The Design and Construction Management Department at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) requires general contracting services for the interior renovation of approximately 866 square meters  (m2) to upgrade 11 units of the Fir Hall Townhouse residences on campus.  Proponents are to refer to Attachment 1 Description of Goods / and Services and appendices for details.
     Scope of Work Highlights:
    • Abatement of asbestos containing flooring
    • Clean demolition of flooring
    • Provide new flooring
    • Provide new kitchen cabinets
    • Provide new bathroom and kitchen plumbing fixtures
    • Provide Bathfitter and accessories
    • Replacement of light fixtures
    • Painting and other finishes
    There are not any  restrictions on the hours of work as the townhouses will be unoccupied.  All work to be coordinated with the University Project Manager.

    The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:  
    Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions.

    This procurement is subject to the following trade agreements:
    The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
    The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

    CONTRACT DETAILS
    One time only purchase of services for specified scope of work.

    1. Completed submitted and signed CCDC 11-2019 Contractor’s Qualification Statement (Pass/Fail)  
    2. Provided a Surety Agreement indicating a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond. (Pass/Fail)
