D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a)   Asphalt Mill and Fill
(i)     Northbound Plessis Road – Dugald Road to 1194 Plessis Road
(ii)     Southbound Plessis Road – Dugald Road to 1194 Plessis Road
(iii)     Eastbound Grant Avenue – West Limit of Haney Street to 160m West of Shaftesbury Boulevard
(iv)     Westbound Grant Avenue – Shaftesbury Boulevard to Chalfont Road
(b)   Asphalt Paving of Granular Shoulder Reconstruction
(i)     Northbound Lagimodiere Boulevard – 370m North of Betournay Street to 500m North of 
Betournay Steet
(ii)     Southbound Lagimodiere Boulevard – Cottonwood Road to Paterson Street to Leveque Street

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Asphalt Mill and Fill
(i)     Asphalt pavement milling (average thickness 50mm)
(ii)     Renewal of existing concrete joints through full depth concrete repairs
(iii)     Partial depth asphalt patching of existing concrete joints
(iv)     Placement of Pavement Repair Fabric
(v)     Renewal of existing sidewalk, curbs, splash strips and median slabs as required
(vi)     Placement of asphalt overlay (average thickness 50mm)
(vii)     Reflective crack maintenance
(viii)     Boulevard restoration as required
(b)   Asphalt Paving of Granular Shoulder Reconstruction
(i)     Excavation
(ii)     Placement of separation of Geotextile fabric
(iii)     Placement of base course and subbase
(iv)     Renewal of existing curb as required
(v)     Minor pavement repairs adjacent to roadway shoulder as required
(vi)     Inlet adjustment as required
(vii)     Placement of asphalt pavement
(viii)     Boulevard restoration
