Arborg Bifrost Refrigeration Ice Plant Replacement

The Town of Arborg on behalf of Arborg Bifrost Recreation is inviting Contractors to respond to this RFP. It is expected that each Proponent’s project team will have relevant experience in design build services for similar refrigeration ice plant replacement projects. Bidders are invited to provide a proposal, complete with firm and final pricing for the replacement of the existing ice plant at the Arborg & District Arena, 437 Recreation Centre, in Arborg, Manitoba. Replacement of the refrigeration ice plant will be a 'Design/Build' type contract with the refrigeration contractor being the primary/general contractor responsible for the overall project completion as well as retaining skilled trades/sub-contractors to perform other work associated/required as part of the work described in this RFP.  Included within this proposal is:

• de-commissioning, removal and replacement of the existing refrigeration ice plant;
• provision of all material, equipment, labour, supervision and services necessary for the supply, installation, start-up and commissioning of the new refrigeration ice plant as described in the RFP documents; and
• quotation for temporary ice plant, if needed.
