Description
The requirement is for a complete and integrated multi-channel platform for advanced research in software-defined radio (SDR) and wireless communications. The system must deliver a high-performance, flexible solution capable of operating in a wide range of frequencies:
• Multiple SDRs with various antennas and support for various frequency ranges.
• High-performance, phase-stable RF cabling
• Precision attenuators and cables.
• All necessary accessories for clock distribution, multi-band antenna operation, and high-speed data interfaces.
The expected output is a research-ready platform that allows for the simultaneous operation of multiple transmitters and receivers for complex communication experiments.
Mandatory technical requirements:
1.High-Bandwidth SDR Setup (Type A)
1.1Must include two (2) units of Software Defined Radio (SDR) featuring: 8 Transmit and 8 Receive channels, 1.6 GHz Bandwidth, Frequency range of 30 MHz to 4 GHz, and GPSDO.
1.2Must include one (1) unit of Dual 100 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe Interface Kit compatible with the SDR units specified in 1.1.
1.3Must include two (2) units of QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 Breakout Cable, 1 Meter length.
1.4Must include one (1) unit of Shielded Single-Ended Cable, 1 Meter length.
1.5Must include one (1) unit of Noise Rejecting, Shielded Aux I/O Connector Block.
1.6Must include two (2) units of 3V GPS Antenna, Magnetic Mount, 5 Meter Cable, SMA connector with Adapter.
1.7Must include two (2) units of Power Cord compatible with the SDR units (US Standard).
2.Wide-Frequency SDR Setup (Type B)
2.1Must include two (2) units of Software Defined Radio (SDR) featuring: 4 Transmit and 4 Receive channels, 400 MHz Bandwidth, Frequency range of 1 MHz to 7.2 GHz, and GPSDO.
2.2Must include one (1) unit of Dual 100 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe Interface Kit compatible with the SDR units specified in 2.1.
2.3Must include two (2) units of QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 Breakout Cable, 1 Meter length.
2.4Must include one (1) unit of Shielded Single-Ended Cable, 1 Meter length.
2.5Must include one (1) unit of Noise Rejecting, Shielded Aux I/O Connector Block.
2.6Must include two (2) units of 3V GPS Antenna, Magnetic Mount, 5 Meter Cable, SMA connector with Adapter.
2.7Must include two (2) units of Power Cord compatible with the SDR units (US Standard).
3.Portable SDR Units (Type C)
3.1Must include four (4) units of SDR Kit featuring: 2x2 MIMO, Frequency range of 70 MHz - 6 GHz.
3.2Must include four (4) units of Steel Enclosure Accessory compatible with the SDR units specified in 3.1.
3.3Must include four (4) units of Board Mounted GPSDO Kit (PCB-Mounted GPS-Disciplined TCXO).
3.4Must include four (4) units of 5V GPS Antenna, Magnetic Mount, 5 Meter Cable with SMA connector.
4.Clocking, Cabling, and Attenuators
4.1Must include one (1) unit of 8 Channel Clock Distribution Accessory with GPSDO.
4.2Must include eighteen (18) units of RF Cable, MMPX (male) to SMA (male), 1 Meter Length.
4.3Must include sixteen (16) units of SMA-SMA Low Loss Phase Stable Flexible Cable; rated for 26 GHz; 144" Length.
4.4Must include twelve (12) units of 26.5 GHz Attenuators, SMA Male/Female, 2W power rating.
4.5Must include eighteen (18) units of SMA Male-Male 36" Low Profile Stability Plus cables.
5.Antennas
5.1Must include twenty-four (24) units of Vertical Antenna, Dualband (2.4-2.5 and 4.9-5.9 GHz).
5.2Must include sixteen (16) units of Log Periodic PCB Antenna (Frequency range 850 MHz to 6.5 GHz).
6.Other Requirements
6.1Must include a minimum of one (1) year warranty on parts and labor.
