Description:
The RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the Supply and Install of a Modular BioProcessing Platform, as further described herein.
Western is seeking proposals for the supply, delivery, and optional qualification of a modular, small-scale (~50 L) bioprocessing platform capable of supporting AAV (adeno-associated virus) production across upstream and downstream operations.
The system must:

• Support Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) - compatible biomanufacturing workflows
• Utilize single-use technologies where appropriate
• Provide flexibility for both suspension and adherent cell culture processes
• 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) PART 11 (electronic records) compliant
• Adhere to relevant global Good Manufacture Practice (GMP) guidelines

Western requires a fully integrated single-use technology-based solutions that enable rapid access to manufacturing capacity with the flexibility to modify or optimize individual processes as production needs evolve.
