Q1. Clean burning propane or electrically heated units--will either of these systems be considered ?
R1. Propane or electrically heated units will not meet our operational requirements.

Q2. Has any testing been done between propane and diesel units?
R2. As noted within Q1/R1 above, propane is not operationally feasible.

Q3. Is there any preference given to Canadian manufacturers?
R3. Please see the Clause titled "When bid submissions are evaluated on price" within the Supplemental General Conditions below.

Q4. Does the Province consider longevity of the unit in their [evaluation]?
R4. The evaluation of the tender bids are based on the lowest priced compliant bid.

All other information remains the same.

SCOPE
This Invitation to Tender consists of the supply and delivery of NINE (9) Trailer-Mounted Asphalt Reclaimers as per the Specifications attached to this document.

CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIA
A Purchase Order will be awarded to the lowest priced compliant bid that meets the Specifications attached hereto.

DELIVERY DATE AND PRICE
Vendor should deliver the NINE (9) Trailer-Mounted Asphalt Reclaimers on or before March 31, 2023 to the Shipping Address detailed above. Bids must include pricing for delivery to the Shipping Address detailed above.

VENDOR QUESTIONS
All inquiries should be received seven (7) calendar days prior to the closing date; any inquiries received less than 7 calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be guaranteed a response. Please reference the tender number and closing date within your communications to ensure a prompt and accurate reply.

SUBMITTALS
Paper copies of bids are no longer accepted. Please see the clause below titled "Instructions for Bid Submission" for instructions to submit bids.

HOW TO SUBMIT PRICING
Vendors must submit their price within the 'Unit Price Including Discount' and 'Extended Price' columns of this Invitation to Tender document. The 'Unit Price Including Discount' and 'Extended Price' should NOT include taxes.

A 'Total Including All Charges' price should be detailed.

In addition to a signed Invitation to Tender document, vendors must submit the following with their bid:

a. within the attached Specification document, a completed:

i. Section 1
ii. Section 2; and
iii. Section 3.

b. if applicable, Appendix A within the attached Specification document.
