Description
Amendment 1 - May 27, 2026 - Adding Codes to Project
The City of Fredericton (the "Local Government") is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced proponents to design, supply, implement, and support an operational asset tracking solution to improve the management and accountability of operational equipment, with the intent of identifying a solution that is reliable, practical, and suitable for use in a high-demand operational environment.
The Local Government is seeking a solution that enables efficient tracking, assignment, and return of assets, while maintaining a clear and auditable record of equipment use. The solution must support operational workflows, provide appropriate access control, and ensure that asset accountability can be maintained without introducing unnecessary complexity or
administrative burden.
Proponents are expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of the operational context described in this RFP and provide a complete, practical approach to delivering the required Services. Responses should focus on the Proponent's ability to deliver a functional, supportable solution that meets the requirements of the Scope of Services.
The Local Government has established a budget of $150,000, within the 2026 fiscal year, for hardware supply and implementation associated with the Services. This amount is inclusive of all capital costs required to deliver a fully operational system. Ongoing costs are excluded from this amount.
