The City will NOT accept Proposals submitted in a printed format.

(b) A "Vendor Account" must be created in order to register as an official "Plan Taker" for this bidding opportunity, and submit an electronic bid response.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to invite submissions from qualified firms with demonstrated experience to provide a Proposal, in compliance with the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Reference, and Appendices stated herein, for the provision of Security Services at the Bridge to Home Resource Hub, located at 473 St. George Street, in Moncton, N.B.

PRE-BID SITE MEETING:

A non-mandatory pre-bid site meeting will be held on THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2026 @ 9:30am (Atlantic Time) at the Bridge to Home Resource Hub, located at 473 St. George Street, Moncton, NB.

The purpose of this non-mandatory pre-bid site meeting is to provide interested Bidders with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the job site (Bridge to Home Resource Hub), existing operating conditions, and review / discuss the facility's security requirements and expectations.

ELIGIBILITY OF PROPONENTS:

Proposals will be considered from established firms who have been in the business of providing uniformed security services which are similar or identical to those described in the RFP, have been in business for a minimum of five (5) years, are financially stable, can provide a minimum of three (3) client references for whom they have provided similar products / services to that specified in the RFP, and have sufficient labour, equipment and resources available to provide reliable and professional security services to the Bridge to Home Resource Hub in the manner and capacity required.

Proposals shall ONLY be considered from agencies licensed to do business in the Province of New Brunswick under the Private Investigators and Security Services Act, and is operating said agency within the parameters of New Brunswick Regulation 84-103 under the Private Investigators and Security Services Act (O.C. 84-386).

PROPOSED CONTRACT TERM:

The proposed term of this agreement shall commence from the date of award to March 31, 2027, with options to renew the agreement for up to four (4) additional twelve (12) month periods, if it is in the City's best interest to do so.
