Harvest Moon Trail Maintenance Services

The Municipality of the County of Kings (“Municipality”) invites qualified Proponents to submit for the maintenance of the Harvest Moon Trail within the municipally-managed sections identified in this RFP (Appendix C - Harvest Moon Trail Map). The successful Proponent (“Service Provider”) will be responsible for the complete seasonal maintenance of the Harvest Moon Trail from time of award through to November 30th, 2028 as described in this RFP. Maintenance services will include, but are not limited to: • Vegetation Control (e.g., brushing, tree removal, chipping, maintaining trail sightlines, and clearing around amenities) • Mowing (e.g., mowing to specified heights, including around trailheads) • Surfacing (e.g., grading, surfacing, and repair of storm damage) • Drainage (e.g., culvert cleaning, ditching maintenance, and inspections) • Bridge Maintenance (e.g., cleaning of bridge decks twice per year)
