RFP - Climate Change Action Plans

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Build Nova Scotia (“BNS”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for BNS-2627-0044 - RFP - Climate Change Action Plans, as further described in Section B.1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). This RFP is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Public Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual. Build Nova Scotia (BNS) is seeking qualified consulting services to undertake a comprehensive Climate Change Risk Assessment with Adaptation Options for its diverse portfolio of coastal and non-coastal assets throughout Nova Scotia. The Successful Proponent will complete a portfolio-wide climate risk assessment and develop practical adaptation strategies to improve resilience to current and future climate hazards. The Successful Proponent will provide actionable recommendations that support climate-informed operations, maintenance, asset renewal, emergency preparedness, and capital planning activities while building internal capacity within BNS through tools, guidance documents, and knowledge transfer activities. The assessment shall consider climate projections, asset vulnerability, service impacts, adaptation opportunities, and long-term planning requirements.
