Description
The Residential Repairs project consists of the repair and remediation of deficiencies that were compiled in 2022-2023 for housing units in Annapolis Valley First Nation (AVFN). This list of repairs is comprised of a diverse scope of work requiring collaboration between external service providers and internal community maintenance staff.
This repair project consists of 944 identified line items divided into specific capacity groups including Windows and Doors, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Roofing, Exterior Siding, etc. The proponent is to collaborate with AVFN maintenance team to evaluate capacity and utilize internal resources prior to sourcing external services. A summarized list of tasks can be made available to the prospective proponent . AVFN manages 56 residential units, and the proponent shall work together with the AVFN housing department to minimize disruption to residents. The total project budget is $1M excluding project administration and management expenses.
It is required that this project is completed by the end of fiscal year 2026.
