NovaGEOSCIENCE Program Core Scanning, Digital Platform, Data Integration, and Facility Modernization

The Province of Nova Scotia and Dalhousie University are seeking information from respondents to inform procurement strategy, technical specifications, and delivery models for the NovaGEOSCIENCE Program. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for planning purposes only and will inform one or more subsequent Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The NovaGEOSCIENCE Program is a strategic, multi-year initiative led by the Province of Nova Scotia, in partnership with Dalhousie University, to modernize the province’s geoscience data infrastructure and unlock the value of its geological assets. The program looks to digitize drill core from the approximately 700,000 metres of drill core, integrate associated historical datasets, and provide open-access to the data through a digital platform.
