RFP - The Provision of Audit Services to the Department of Agriculture - Risk Management and Lending

This Request for Proposals (the 'RFP') is an invitation by the Province of Nova Scotia (the 'Province') to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision ofAudit Services to the Department of Agriculture on behalf of the Nova Scotia Farm Loan Board, Nova Scotia Fisheries & Aquaculture Loan Board, and the Nova Scotia Crop & Livestock Insurance Commission ('the Entities'), as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the 'Deliverables'). This RFP is being conducted pursuant to the Nova Scotia Sustainable Procurement Policy and Procurement Manual. The Entities each operate as a branch of the Department of Agriculture with a primary location in Bible Hill and branch locations in Kentville and Yarmouth. Supporting hardcopy legal, correspondence, and accounting documentation for each entity is maintained in Bible Hill. All accounting is via the Provincial SAP system, including use of the SAP loan module for loan sub ledger accounting. The Province is seeking the services of one (1) qualified public accounting firm (including, but not limited to sole proprietorships, companies, and partnerships) for the provision of Audit Services for the Entities.
