    Description
    MODG in accordance with its governance procedures, is requesting written responses to this REOI from interested parties wishing to enter into negotiations with MODG. These negotiations could potentially lead to a legally binding and registerable Option and/or Development Agreement (“Option”), or similar interest-in-land document. These documents provide avenues to develop and acquire certain lands (“Lands”) and access rights (“Access Rights”) located at the Goldboro, NS, Industrial Park (“the Park”), which Lands are currently owned, or are to be owned, by MODG. Sealed proposals plainly marked “Onshore Land Acquisition & Development Rights, Goldboro Industrial Park” will be received at the office of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough, 33 Pleasant St., Guysborough B0H 1N0 until 2:00 P.M., September 28th, 2023. It is requested that in addition to the written proposal noted above, that a PDF copy be simultaneously e-mailed to the Project Manager noted below. To ensure the integrity of the process, inquiries and other communications regarding this REOI, from the issue date up to the eventual conclusion, are to be directed only to MODG’s contracted Project Manager: Mr. Andrew Amos, P. Eng. Catalyst Consulting Engineers Inc. by phone at (902) 802-0306 or email at catalyst@eastlink.ca. Inquiries and other communications are not to be directed to any other MODG official(s) or project stakeholder. Failure to comply may result in disqualification. Inquiries must be submitted in writing by the prime contact of a Proponent. Inquiries must be received no less than 5 calendar days prior to the REOI closing date to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Inquiries received after that time might not be answered prior to the REOI closing date. To ensure consistency and quality of information provided to proponents with respect to significant inquiries received, and the replies to such inquiries, any material additional information related to this REOI will be provided simultaneously to proponents to which this solicitation applies (with the exception of inquiries identified as Commercially Confidential), without revealing the sources of the inquiries.
