District of Lunenburg Food Hub Feasibility Study

This Request for Proposal (hereafter referred to as the “Proposal” or the “RFP”) outlines the requirements of the District of Lunenburg (hereafter referred to as the “District”, “MODL” or “Municipality”) with regard to exploring the feasibility of a Food Hub by qualified professional firms and individuals (hereafter referred to as the “Proponent”) for the completion of the scope of work described within this document. • To act as a decision guide for MODL to use as they continue to explore and assess how a Food Hub can be developed. • Serve as a tool to introduce the idea of a Food Hub with Council, potential partners, and the community at large, providing tangible opportunities to begin conversations, further explore relevant ideas, and examine project considerations. The process to develop the District of Lunenburg Food Hub Feasibility Study will reflect an integration of community engagement, best practice research, financial model, and strategic analysis of the District of Lunenburg context.
