Tool Crib Automation

This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by the Halifax Regional Water Commission (“Halifax Water”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Respondents are asked to respond to Halifax Water and provide the information requested below. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information on automated solutions capable of managing a secured, unmanned tool crib to enhance tracking, access control, and accountability for operational tools across Halifax Water facilities. We invite interested parties to submit information outlining their proposed solution, including key capabilities, integration options, scalability, and any relevant experience with similar implementations. Respondents should provide a clear and comprehensive overview of their system and its suitability for Halifax Water’s operational environment.
