General Contractors for Various Capital Road Improvement Projects in the Region of York

The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Prequalification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 

For complete bid details, refer to the RFPQ documents. Respondents are advised that the scope of work under each RFT is anticipated to include all work associated with the applicable Project, including any required structural work. The Region intends to issue individual Requests for Tender (“RFT”) for eight (8) capital road improvement projects at various locations in the Region of York, which are listed in Appendix B – Project Table

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OHSMS) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM: Any responses received from respondents who do not meet the OHSMS certification requirements, as stated in RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A), shall be rejected from further consideration.
