Description
To modify the existing conveyance drainage channel and create a series of artificial cascading waterfalls between the impoundment and the quarry that match the specifications of design drawings. The design is intended to maximize air-liquid contact and aeration capacity of the drainage system and this will encourage chemical reactions that decrease the pH and ammonia concentration in the discharge water. The conveyance channel modifications consist of:
• Cutting and removal of a section of buried corrugated steel pipe
• Augment existing conveyance channel and install geomembrane and rip rap
• Manufacture and install three (3) steel weirs and concrete splash pads

Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
