Consultant Selection – South Edgeware Road Signal Design, PXO Design, and Street Lighting Design

The City of St. Thomas (the City) is seeking professional services for electrical design and the preparation of tender documents along with construction inspection services for the replacement of traffic signals at the intersection of South Edgeware Road and First Ave and street lighting design on South Edgeware Road from Waterworks Park to Harper Road.

The work is being divided into two elements as follows:

Task 1 – Engineering Design and Traffic Signal and Street Lighting 

Task 2 - Quality Assurance and Inspection Services during Construction (2027 and 2028)

City of St Thomas staff will be concurrently completing the engineering design of other components of the aforementioned infrastructure projects, including the replacement of underground sanitary, storm and watermain infrastructure, roadway replacement, sidewalk replacement and active transportation enhancements.
