Description
The Board is seeking the services of a pre-qualified Architectural Firm to provide architectural and consulting services including Design Development, assistance with Contract Documents & Tender development, and Construction & Contract Administration for the renovations as further specified herein.
The Successful Bidder will be required to design and administer the construction of the following scope.
- Replace and Upgrade Ventilation to high efficiency HVAC, including exhaust fans. (Gas or electric decided during design)
- Improve ventilation and particulate filtering, minimum MERV 13 filter.
- Add full HVAC to office areas and Gym. To ASHRAE standards and a minimum # of 6 for air exchanges.
- All new equipment to be connected to existing BAS
- To offset AC utilities cost, design approximately a 48 KW Net Metering DC Solar PV Array.
- Consultant to review Electrical Loading to validate if upgrade of Primary feed is necessitated. If required, supply estimate for scope and subsequent budget change.
- Work to be phased to minimize disruption to building users.
- Consultant to produce Class D and B estimates.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
