PREQUALIFICATION OF GENERAL CONTRACTOR FOR YONGE STREET (Y.R. 01) RECONSTRUCTION AND WIDENING WORKS, FROM DAVIS DRIVE (Y.R. 31) TO GREEN LANE (Y.R. 19), TOWN OF NEWMARKET AND TOWN OF EAST GWILLIMBURY

The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.  

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region intends to issue a Request for Tender for the Yonge Street (Y.R. 01) road improvements and widening from Davis Drive (Y.R. 31) to 200m north of Green Lane (Y.R. 19), Town of Newmarket and Town of East Gwillimbury. The "Proposed Work" as further described in RFPQ-1730-24 Appendix A.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any proposals received from proponents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR™) certified, who have not obtained COR™ equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
• Rated Criteria : The Region will evaluate each response that has met the mandatory submission requirements and mandatory technical requirements on the basis of the rated criteria as set out in Section E of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A).
