Description
This Request for Prequalification (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of The Blue Mountains (the “Town”) to prospective Respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide General Contractor Teams for Mountain Road Booster Pumping Station Relocation as further described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”).
This RPFQ is requesting submissions from qualified general contractors to prequalify for the construction of the new Mountain Road Booster Pumping Station (BPS). The new BPS will be approximately 300 m2 two-storey building to house process, mechanical and electrical equipment. The Scope of Work will also entail a pad-mounted power diesel generator, construction of a driveway, yard piping, approximately 420 m of 400 mm diameter watermain on Grey Road 19, and the decommissioning and removal of the existing below ground Mountain Road BPS.
The purpose of this document is to identify and select by means of prequalification, Respondents who will be included in the Prequalified General Contractor list, to be invited to submit a bid on the proposed work for the Project. Respondents named to the Prequalified General Contractor list will be invited to respond to a subsequent Invitation to Tender for the project, should the Town proceed with such a call.
The Prequalification process will be based on the Town evaluating the information provided by Respondents against the criteria set out in Part 2 of the RFPQ. Reference checks, requests for additional information and any other requests may be made by the Town without limitation.
