Site Improvements at Amherst Island Public School

This project includes all labour, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the landscape improvements at Amherst Island Public School in accordance with the Issued for Tender drawings and specifications. The scope comprises of site removals, preparation, layout and tree protection in accordance with project documents. The Contractor shall coordinate all required utility locates, maintain site safety, and protect existing infrastructure and features to remain. All grading, subgrade preparation, and base installation shall be completed to achieve the proposed finishes and ensure positive drainage throughout the site. 

New construction includes supply and installation of engineered wood fiber surfacing (including top-up areas), stone dust surfacing, sand play areas, long jump sand pit, asphalt paving with rolled edges, fencing, gates, bike racks, flagpoles, sport equipment (basketball systems and soccer goals), outdoor classroom elements, armor stone seating, raised wooden planters, and custom cedar site furnishings. The work also includes planting of trees, shrubs, and hydroseeding and associated maintenance during the warranty period.
