Birddog and Detection Aircraft Services

The Ministry is seeking the provision of up to seven (7) Fixed Wing Birddog Aircraft Services (BAS) and up to ten (10) Fixed Wing Aerial Detection Aircraft Services (DAS) with associated services to support wildland fire suppression activities primarily in the Province of Ontario, during each Fire Season during the Term of the Contract. These aircraft may also be moved by the Ministry, at its option, to other provinces or territories of Canada, or to other states in the United States of America, as may be needed and described in greater detail herein.

For the contemplated Contracts, the Ministry will evaluate proposals submitted for each type of such services separately and award up to two (2) contracts. A proponent may submit a proposal for Birddog Aircraft Services or Detection Aircraft Services or both, however all applicable requirements must be provided as further described in The Deliverables.
