Notification of Project

1.0          This notification is provided to inform and advise that the Roof Replacement at Brooke Central Public School is being requested by the Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is forthcoming.

This notification of project shall be considered as a supplement to the Bid Documents for the project and as such will become part of the tender and contract documents.

Any Contractors or Subcontractors wishing to perform this project is required to complete the LKDSB “Contractor Qualification” that can be found at bidsandtenders.ca.

The Intent of this Request for Bid is to obtain bids to complete the roof replacement as outlined on the scope of services.

2.0          Tendering Schedule:

Planned issue:  April 16, 2024

Planned Submission deadline:  May 14, 2024

Project start date:   Onsite Construction Start July 2, 2024

Substantial Performance: August 18, 2024

The Purchaser may amend any timeline, including the Submission Deadline, without liability, cost, or penalty, and within its sole discretion. 

The Project may be subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and other applicable agreements.
