North York General Hospital (NYGH), affiliated with the University of Toronto, is one of Canada's leading community academic hospitals. The hospital offers a wide range of acute care, ambulatory and long-term care services across multiple sites. NYGH has already implemented the Genetec Access Control System in several sites and requires maintenance services for these systems in several sites.

The intent of this RFP is to make an award to one service provider. The supplier must have the following qualifications to maintain the Genetec Access Control Systems :
• Genetec certification: Security Center 5.x Omnicast (Video) Technical
Certification - SC-OTC-001
• Security Center 5.x Synergis (Access Control) Technical Certification - SC-STC-001
• Security Center 5.x AutoVu fixed technical certification - SC-AFC-001
• Security Center 5.x Enterprise (Advanced) Technical Certification - SC-ETC-001,
Genetec Mission Control Admin Training - MC-ACT-001

Supplier is to support the security systems, their components and system practitioners day-to-day service efforts within multiple sites. Through this Agreement the Hospital will receive the following deliverables:
- System specific hardware components
- Regular preventive maintenance with software upgrading services
- Emergency, Non-Emergency and After-hours Service Calls
- Redundancy within the security system coordination role
