Widening of Pine Valley Drive to Add a Southbound Left-Turn Lane North of Rutherford Road, Vaughan

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK This Tender is for the widening of the east side of Pine Valley Drive at the Rutherford Road intersection to incorporate a southbound left-turn lane. The proposed work will include asphalt milling, earth excavation, grading, granulars, asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, subdrain, infiltration trench, roadside ditching work, pavement markings, permanent signage, pedestrian signals and related works.as further set out in Appendix A - RFT Particulars (the “Deliverables”).

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $75,000 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Appendix E and F respectively.
• CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
