Landscape Maintenance on VivaNext Rapidways in the Cities of Markham and Richmond Hill and the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK York Region plants and maintains landscaped features on Regional road right of ways, including trees, shrubs and perennials in landscaped centre medians, boulevards and roundabouts. These plantings and associated maintenance activities are conducted throughout the Region for the purpose of creating safe and attractive streets.

The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-968-22

• Titanium Contracting Inc
• Forest Ridge Landscaping

Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration.

MEETING: A non-mandatory Bidder's site meeting will be held on Thursday January 25, 2024, at 11am.  All bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature in the Bidding Website before or after the information meeting. Although the meeting is not mandatory it is highly recommended. Please send e-mail to susan.elkins@york.ca for meeting invite.

DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of $250,000.00 the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.  Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. 

Bids received that do not include a bid deposit in a form acceptable to the Region shall be deemed noncompliant and shall be rejected.
