Renovations to Family Contact & Access Centre at Catholic Children's Aid Society of Hamilton

The attached Instructions to Bidders and Bid Forms is for the provision of general contracting services to perform renovations at the family contact and visitation area at the Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton, 735 King Street East, Hamilton, Ontario L8M 1A1. Technical documents form an integral part of this RFT process and are distributed with the RFT Documents.

The family contact and visitation area comprises approximately 3,500 sq. ft. on the first floor of the CCASH building. The current space has been unchanged for over fifteen years and has a very institutional feel to it. The space contains several meeting rooms with limited natural light in many of the rooms. Through this renovation CCASH wants to modernize this space and make it more child focused, inclusive, welcoming and culturally appropriate. The renovation will allow for a large open area (in addition to enclosed meeting rooms) where families can gather.

The successful bidder will renovate the existing family contact and visitation area on the 1st floor of the CCASH building which is located at 735 King Street, Hamilton, as per the design and specs attached as part of this document.
