Description
HMMS, on behalf of St. Joseph’s Health Care London, including the Hand and Upper Limb Centre (HULC) and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMF) programs, is seeking to establish a long-term partnership with one or more preferred Proponent(s) for the supply, maintenance, and servicing of battery-powered, pneumatic, and electrically powered Surgical Power Tool systems, associated accessories, and related consumables.
HMMS intends to conduct this procurement as a multi-lot competitive process, consisting of:
- Lot A – HULC Surgical Power Tool Products
- Lot B – OMF Surgical Power Tool Products
Each lot will be evaluated, scored, demonstrated, and/or clinically trialed independently based on the requirements applicable to that lot. Proponents may submit a response for one lot, both lots, or any combination thereof. HMMS intends to make a single award for each lot; however, HMMS reserves the right to award one, both, or neither lot and may award each lot to different proponents or to a single proponent, at its sole discretion.
Funding has been approved to purchase eighteen (18) battery-powered surgical power tool sets, as well as multiple pneumatic-powered surgical tool sets. Subject to the availability of additional funding, SJHC anticipates purchasing an additional three (3) large and two (2) small power tool sets prior to the end of fiscal 2027. Proponents are requested to identify any available trade-in options for SJHC's existing fleet as part of their submissions.
Proponents are requested to provide pricing for both purchase and lease acquisition models for the proposed solution. Pricing shall include all equipment, accessories, consumables, service, maintenance, and any other costs necessary to support a comprehensive total cost of ownership evaluation.
