HMMS believes that the following procurement qualifies as a sole source or single source procurement. The purpose of this Advanced Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to determine if there are other proponents capable of meeting the requirements of the procurement for the following supplies for HMMS, on behalf of LHSC
Manufacturer: Baxter
Brand Name: PrismaFlex, PrisMax
Purpose: Consumables for the PrismaFlex and PrisMax CRRT equipment
LHSC owns several PrismFlex and PrisMax CRRT machines that are not yet at end of life. Baxter has proposed a 2-year contract, plus 2 Option Years for the consumables required for this equipment. As the consumables are proprietary, only Baxter is able to supply them.
