Water Quality Information Management for Atlantic, Ontario, Manitoba, Pacific and Saskatchewan Regions

This proposed Contract is for internet web-based services (Service) provided through an application service provider that will enable staff from FNIH Regions/First Nations Authorities to manage the following:
•	facility information, 
•	water quality data, 
•	advisory and alert status reports, and 
•	public water systems (PWS), semi-public water systems (SPWS), water delivery trucks (WDT), cisterns, private wells, and barrels/standpipes located in First Nations communities within Atlantic, Ontario, Manitoba, Pacific and Saskatchewan Health Canada Regions (“The Regions”).

The provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland/Labrador fall under Atlantic Region and the province of British Columbia falls under Pacific Region.  

Services will also include the management of water quality information for drinking water systems and public water systems located on Leased Land on First Nations Reserves.

The Service will be accessible to all authorized client staff served by the database information system using Health Canada standard browsers and office software. The Service will include an up-to-date database of standards or guidelines ("Parameter Database") for Health Canada and Regions served by a database information system. The Parameter Database will be organized by water quality parameter, and also include an online information resource that provides the general description, a description of the health implications, and associated Health Canada drinking water quality guidelines, and relevant provincial guidelines/standards (such as MAC and AO), suitable for public or client staff education.
