    Description
    The National Capital Commission (NCC) annually produces a variety of events such as Canada Day, Winterlude, and Christmas Lights across Canada in addition to supporting other events. The NCC is seeking a professional electrical contractor for support services in producing these events. Support will consist of but not limited to the delivery, installation, monitoring and the removal of electrical equipment.
    
    The contract will be for a period of one (1) year from April 1, 2014 with three (3) one option years to extend. 
    
    Enquiries regarding this tender must be submitted in writing as early as possible within the solicitation period to the Senior Contract Officer, Nicole Galipeau by email at nicole.galipeau@ncc-ccn.ca or by facsimile at 613-239-5007, and the telephone number is 613-239-5678 ext. 5191,. Except for the approval of alternative materials as described in the General Instructions to Bidders, enquiries should be received no later than seven (7) business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to Bidders, the Senior Contract Officer shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether or not to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this tender sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed ONLY to the Senior Contract Officer named above. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a tender.
    
    To be considered, your tender (on NCC forms), the mandatory requirements and your bid bond must be received prior to 3 p.m. Ottawa time on September 4, 2013 at the National Capital Commission, 3rd Floor Service Centre, 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1C7, reference tender file #NG232.

    Note that amounts quoted in this RFP are in Canadian dollars. Payment is net is 30 days.
