Industry Canada (IC) is preparing for a Department wide GCDOCS project.  GCDOCS (Open Text Content Server) is the Government of Canada’s chosen solution to provide a single common tool for all employees to store, share, find and control access to information holdings. 

To prepare for the implementation of GCDOCS in Industry Canada, the Department needs a solution as to: 

1.	Compile an inventory of information holdings to establish a current state;
2.	Understand the information requirements of major business activities of the sectors within the Department to configure GCDOCs appropriately; and,
3.	Develop a migration strategy to move information holdings to GCDOCS

Proposed period of contract:

The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award to June 30, 2014
