Collateral Management for the Government of Canada’s Exchange Fund Account (EFA)

Description of the Requirement

The Department of Finance Canada requires the services of a Contractor to provide a written report that describes the current state of the global collateral custodian and asset management market; as well as a detailed analysis of the custodial and asset management function.

In addition, the Contractor will provide ongoing technical guidance in the development of a Statement of Work and Evaluation Criteria that will be used in a Request for Proposal process to select a custodian and asset manager for managing collateral for the Government of Canada’s swap program used to fund the Exchange Fund Account.

Proposed period of Contract

The proposed period of the contract is from date of contract award to December 31, 2014.

Estimated Value

The estimated value of this requirement will not exceed $150,000, excluding taxes and travel expenses.
