    Nature of Requirement:
    Aerological Observation at St. John’s, NL for Environment Canada
    Environment Canada has the requirement to operate the Aerological Observing Station at St. John’s, NL in accordance to the Statement of Work titled “Aerological Observations and Other Services St. John’s West Upper Air Station (2013)” of the Solicitation Document.  
    Work shall be carried out 6 hours per day, every day including holidays. A minimum of 3 employees capable of being trained and qualified as Upper Air Observers shall be required to operate the Upper Air Program. All personnel shall have completed Secondary School or equivalent as well as having
    Computer experience with Microsoft Windows. One of the three proposed observers must be designated as station manager and must have prior upper air experience. Resumes for all personnel are required.
    The contract is for nine months with the option to extend up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions.
    This requirement is subject to Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
