(ITM) of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Quebec Region

DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #QUGO0123– Fire Inspection, Testing, Minor Repair (ITM) of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Quebec Region.

The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the Fire Inspection, Testing, Minor Repair (ITM) of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems in the Quebec Region. 

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $2,480,000 for the first (1st) year. If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for two (2) additional one (1) year period.

This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.

The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).  Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.

Various site visits have been arranged for the following dates, times and locations.  It is highly recommended that bidders attend the visits.

MONTRÉAL AND ST-JEAN

Date : January 14, 2014 (plan for a full day)  

Time: 08:00 hours, local time    Location:  Address: 6769, rue Notre-Dame Est, Montréal, H1N 3R9.  Meeting point at the sentry box of PL south (Notre-Dame St. Building L22). There will be a visit of the garrison and of Building L3. 

Time: 10:00 hours, local time    Location:  St-Hubert. There will be a visit of the garrison and of Building H10. 

Time: 13:00 hours, local time    Location:  St-Jean Garrison. Meeting point at the sentry box on Grand Bernier St., P.C. 100, Succursale Bureau Chef, Richelain, QC, J0J 1R0. There will be a visit of the garrison and of the Méga.



VALCARTIER

Date : January 17, 2014 (plan for a full day)  

Time: 08:00 hours, local time    Location:  Meeting point at building 72 on De La Victoire St., Room 104, Courcelette QC G0A 4Z0. There will be a visit of the base, Building 312 and of the gymnasium.

Time: 10:00 hours, local time    Location:  2459 Route de la Bravoure, QC G3J 1X5 Guided tour of DRDC at and of the laboratory

Time: 12:00 hours, local time    Location:  St-Malo Armoury

Time: 14:00 hours, local time    Location:  Visit of the Citadelle. Meeting point at the guardhouse

BAGOTVILLE

Date:  January 21, 2014  (plan for half a day). 

Time: 13:00 hours, local time   Location:  3 Wing Bagotville Building 62 Ottawa St., Alouette, QC, G0V 1A0.  There will be a visit of the base and a visit of hangars 6 and 7.
