This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 stream for IM/IT Service. Description of the requirement: 1.0 BACKGROUND Information Management and Technology Directorate (IMTD) within the Corporate Services Branch (CSB) of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is a strategic IM/IT service provider to the Commission. The Application Services Division (ASD) within IMTD is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of IM/IT solutions to meet the business needs of different areas of the CNSC. 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK ASD requires the professional services of a Sr. .Net developer to provide .Net development services in support of IMTD projects and existing application: The tasks to be performed are: • Interpret business and functional requirement documents in order to author design requirements; • Develop multi-tier solutions (including UI, business layer and data access layers) following Object Oriented best practices; • Develop user interfaces in VB.Net, with the use of master pages and code behind as defined by ASD standards and templates; • Develop solutions using VB .Net, ASP .Net, .Net Framework 3.5, Enterprise library 4.x, Web Client Service Factory, Model View Presenter; • Create automated deployment projects; • Document system design and detailed deployment instructions; • Re-use existing standard modules, developed by ASD; • Maintain standard Look & Feel as defined by ASD; • Create and execute unit test cases of the solution modules during development; • Respond to bug reports and fix issues in a timely fashion as report by Quality Assurance. 3.0 TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT • Visual Studio 2012 • VB .Net / C#, ASP .Net, .Net Framework 3.5/4.5, Enterprise library 4.xx, Web Client Service Factory, Entity Framework, Model View Presenter • WCF • Telerik Controls • Windows 2008 servers • Team Foundation Server 2012 • SQL Server 2008 • Microsoft Office 2010 Proposed period of contract: The proposed period of contract shall be from date of award + 220 days, plus two 110-day options.
