Tree planting

1.1	TIME OF COMPLETION

.1	Begin work as soon as possible and complete planting operations, installation of tree supports, and mulching requirement on or before August 1, 2014. Tree maintenance is the responsibility of the Contractor until the end of the warranty period (Section 00300).
DESCRIPTION OF WORK	
Work under this Contract covers but not limited to:
To supply, plant, and maintain trees supplied by the Contractor as per instructions;
Tree planting operations as per Sections 00200 and 00300. See attached map for site locations (Section 00600). Exact planting location of each tree to be staked by a NCC representative. Detailed maps for all sites will be supplied by the NCC representative upon award of contract;
Repair any damages to assets occurring during work, (Section 00100 & 00200);
Maintenance of the tree support systems, tree guards and winter protection, must be according to section 00300.

There is a public opening scheduled shortly after the bid closing time in room 306 at 40 Elgin Street, 3rd floor, Ottawa, ON.

The procurement process of this tender is subject to Chapter 5 on the Agreement on Internal Trade.
