Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement

This requirement is for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission.

This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 – Stream 4 - Business Services.

This requirement is open only to those invited TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under the categories for: Help Desk Specialist.

Description of the requirement:

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has a requirement for a Help Desk Specialist/Desktop Support.
Summary of Duties
•	Install, replace and troubleshoot hardware, including, but not limited to PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, multi-function devices and blackberrys in a network environment.

•	Implementation of PC Lifecycle, including installation, setup and/or troubleshooting Windows 7 Professional on a networked environment.

•	Provide second level IT client support services to all CNSC, including sites and/or regional offices for computer hardware and software, multi-media troubleshooting services as well as management of loan inventory.

 
•	Asset Management, includes, but is not limited to shipping and receiving, tagging and data entry.

•	Assist in large moves of computer hardware

•	Assist in the roll-out of new applications, hardware and software

•	Develop and maintain technical documentation, processes and procedures.

•	Assignment of responsibilities will be dependent on operational requirements as determined by the Team Leader.


Security requirement at bid closing: Valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).


Proposed period of contract:

The proposed period of contract shall be from contract award plus 230 days and two irrevocable option periods of 230 days as Option Period 1 and 230 days as Option Period 2.
