Description of the requirement:

Industry Canada’s Chief Information Office (CIO), more specifically the Business Solutions Branch (BSB) requires the services of a senior Programmer/Analyst to provide support, maintenance and addition of critical business processes for its existing legacy Spectrum Management System (SMS) in order to maintain services to spectrum users so as to ensure the success of the Spectrum Application Modernization (SAM) Project. The specific components include the existing Spectrum Management Workflow and Electronic Application program (known internally as GDOC), the Amateur Professional Certificate (APC), the Amateur Professional Exam Generator (APEG) and other Spectrum Management System (SMS) components as well as validating the integrity of current SMS data. As part of this effort, validation of the existing data will be done along with development of utilities to migrate the data and development of tools and reports to ensure that the data has been successfully migrated to the Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) system.


Proposed period of contract:

The proposed period of contract shall be for one (1) year from date of contract award (tentative start date is July 2014), with the irrevocable option to extend the period of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one (1) year period under the same terms and conditions.
