Description of the requirement: 
For the 2016 Census, Statistics Canada’s Geography Division (GEO) is responsible to deliver mapping applications and services to support the collection and dissemination of Census data.  The applications will provide our clients with the ability to geocode Census staff, visually manage Census staff work load using web mapping tools, view thematic map data, modify low level geographic areas by merging them to create larger areas, and search for geographically specific Statistics Canada data using a map.  Mapping tools are also required to support the Census of Agriculture (CEAG) and Labour Force Survey (LFS).  Successful candidates will continue the development and support of the following tools: GeoCode Mapping Service, Boundary Selection Service, GeoValidator, GeoValidator+, Case Workload Management, CEAG Mapping, LFS Viewer, and New Dissemination Model.  

The proposed period of the contract shall be from November 17, 2014 to September 30, 2015.
