Replacement of one (1) motor control center (MCC) in pier #6 at Canal St‐Ours Dam.

Description of Work: The works consist to the Replacement of one (1) motors control center (MCC) in pier #6 at Canal St‐Ours Dam. Including dismantling, disconnecting existing MCC and installation, reconnect, trials and start‐up of the new MCC.  Furniture and replacement of one (1) automatic transfer switch in the outdoor electrical substation at Canal St‐Ours dam.  Including dismantling/disconnecting existing manual transfer switch and furniture and installation/reconnect/trials/start‐up of the new automatic transfer switch.

Closing Date and Time: January 14, 2015 at 2:00 EST.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Canal St-Ours Dam 1453, St-Jean Baptiste, Saint-Roch-de-Richelieu, Québec J0L 2M0 on December 16, 2014.  The site visit will begin at 10:00 EST.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than December 15, 2014 at 13:00 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.

Delivery Date: The Work must be completed on or before March 31, 2015.
